“Future Centre,” founded in 2016, began as a modest foreign language school in Tirana, near the former Train Station and the Faculty of Natural Sciences. Starting with small, deliberate steps, the school quickly demonstrated its commitment and collaboration skills, leading to early successes.
Rapid growth followed, including new partnerships and the opening of two additional branches. The school has since expanded to a modern facility near the Artistic High School and the former Electric Market in Tirana, and has been serving Lushnja for six years and Vlora for three years.
Mission: At Future Centre, our mission is to empower individuals through high-quality foreign language education, fostering global communication and understanding. Founded in 2016, we are dedicated to providing dynamic, accessible learning experiences that meet the diverse needs of our students and promote lifelong learning.
Vision: Our vision is to be a leading hub for language education, expanding our reach and impact across Albania and beyond. By continuously innovating and adapting to the evolving educational landscape, we aim to bridge cultural gaps and equip our students with the skills needed to thrive in a globalized world.
At “Future Centre,” we offer foreign language courses from beginner to C1 level in languages such as English, German, Italian, French, Greek, and Spanish. We also prepare students for international exams like TOEIC, TOEFL, APTIS, IELTS, GOETHE, and CELI.
In addition, we assist with school subjects including Albanian language and literature, mathematics, physics, biology, and chemistry, from exam prep to extra support.
Our “After School” program provides younger children with personalized care and support for their homework, along with engaging activities suited to their age. This helps them improve their English skills, focus, and overall development.
The opening of a highly important Congress took place, aimed at exchange and cooperation in a field as significant as teaching and integration, presenting itself as a golden opportunity for all language schools.
AMIF, a project of the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund, following a fruitful collaboration between Re-Alis and co-financing from the European Union, is introduced as an ambitious project based on two main pillars: the standardization of language teaching and the implementation of pre-integration measures for nurses.
Within the framework of this initiative, the Future Centre, among other things, is supported with:
Materials – that is, literature implemented into curricula;
Method – content for the educational program;
Training – not only for teachers but also for staff, including managers, etc.
These components are indicators that transform our school into one of the highest-standard language schools in Albania.
The implementation of this process takes place once a year, during which Re-Alis, in collaboration with VFBB e.V., invites all foreign language schools to exchange their experiences, thus making their challenges and achievements tangible, and at the same time to understand the functioning of each other’s work through personal experience sharing.
In this project, the teaching process will be observed so that a quality standard can be achieved, by incorporating practical teaching and a commitment to effective evaluation.
Meanwhile, another clause of this initiative is the pre-integration of nurses into the German state. This includes an action plan to ease their integration as well as their adaptation to everyday life, thereby facilitating their living conditions in the new country.
Another goal is to maintain a standard quality in teaching the German language and to further improve it in the future.
The European Union supports many projects, one of which is this one, which we believe will be highly effective.
The second AMIF Conference was held in Speyer, Germany, with the participation of other foreign language schools. The idea of cooperation and the exchange of ideas and experiences was emphasized as a key element for further professional development.
At the same time, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the leadership of our school and Re-Alis, VFBB e.V., and AMIF, the latter certified by the European Union.
The 10th DILLE Congress was held at the University Language Center and the Catholic University “Our Lady of Good Counsel,” under the theme: “Languages, Territories and Contexts: Today’s Linguistic and Educational Policies” – “Lingue, territori e contesti: le politiche linguistico-educative oggi”, in collaboration with the Faculty of Foreign Languages and the Department of Italian Language.
The Director of the NSBC University Language Center, Natalia Hoti, together with the Director of Future Centre, Ardit Lena, presented a study titled “Language Certification: an Essential Tool for Personal and Professional Development.”
This study comes after a long-standing collaboration between the University Language Center and Future Centre. Emphasis was placed on the importance of recognizing German language proficiency through obtaining the TELC Certificate. Certification is now a fundamental tool for the official recognition of language competencies, with an impact on both academic and professional fields.
Our ongoing initiatives were presented, highlighting the successful cooperation with the University “Our Lady of Good Counsel” in securing a reliable and recognized certification through TELC, as a strategic link to ensure success.
